Updated review: I´m using this app quite frequently, as our family are passionate boaters. Haven´t been disappointed at all. The charts work wonderfully. Haven´t had any troubles with it. Thanks Embark for being a great addition to this boating season!
I started using Embark to plan our family boating vacation. I can access all the charts i want anywhere in the US! Inland and offshore. The details are incredible and it basically makes a chart plotter obsolete. Using smaller boats for fishing or a dinghy on the inland lakes and rivers this app is the perfect way to not only navigate but plan the trips. There are 3 different light modes that are very practical in different light conditions. For me the sunshine mode worked very well as the icons are larger and it is super easy to read. The night mode is great for fishing in dusk or dawn or when being out on the water at night! wonderful stuff!
